Special solution for successfully scanned barcode
  • Make sure to have sufficient light. If the surrounding area is too dark or there is some shadow on the barcode.

  • Keep an appropriate distance (not too close or too far, recommended about 10 inches / 30cm) between the camera and the barcode. Keep an appropriate angle (not a high tilt angle) and remain stable when scanning.

  • If no recognized results after several attempts, the barcode may not be valid or the barcode is overly damaged. Please confirm if the barcode is correct and supported by QuickMark Mobile.

  • If the barcode is very small, make sure if the camera's viewfinder is clear enough for scanning. (The ability of decode depends on the viewfinder's resolution).

  • If the camera supports zoom function, user is can adjust the zoom value and check the viewfinder for decoding.
